Something other than skiing...

Got a call a few weeks back from photographer Nina Djærff about wanted me in a art exhibition she's having this summer at Villa Fridheim that is a famous fairytail museum just 15min away from Norefjell. Not any thing like what I have done before but thought it could be a cool things to join in on and with Nina shooting it, it was all a new and funny experience.

The exhibition will start this Sunday 14/6 and continue through the summer, so if you are around that area stop by and check it out! Nina pretty much kills it with the camera!

Folgefonna wrap up

Got back from Folgefonna last night and because of a slow internet and a lot of people surf'in, it was hard to keep up with an update during the last days but her you go.

At Folgefonna we wrapped up the 2 year filming with Field Productions for their new movie, Supervention drop'in this fall! It was a big crew with almost every rider that have been out filming for the last 2 years dropped by Folgefonna to get some shred shots and just hang out. The main focus was a kicker shoot and shred shots of every rider and filmer and I can tell we got some bangers!

Just want to say a big THANKS to Field Productions with Filip, Even, Lasse, Jan Petter, Espen for the most exciting 2 years of my skiing so far! Also and the photographers and filmers that have been out shooting, Andreas, Nils, Kardi, Trond, Sveinung, Vegard, Daniel, etc. Thanks for making me a part of this project and I can't wait to see the result!

Folgefonna

Had a 8 hour drive from Stryn over to Folgefonna to meet up with the Field crew and the last shoot for the season. The guys had been chill'in the hole day because of bad weather but in the evening it turned good and we did some interview stuff and made a plan for the next days. Unfortunately the weather turned bad yesterday (friday) and we ended up shred'n in the fog the hole day, shaping the jump and sitting up at the cafe on the glacier waiting and checking if the sun came out but we ended up with 3 hours of card playing and then heading back down. Better luck tomorrow!

Stryn Wrap up

Stryn was funny! A lot of bad weather but still cool to shred, build some bc features and get a lot of banger shoot with Kalle.  We didn't get to much film, but check out the Frame By Frame edit from Stryn and enjoy!

New day, new spots

Started the day with some breakfast with the crew at Folven before heading up to the mountain to session a few more spots and get shots. Had a new spot that we built ready yesterday and it turned out better than expected! The weather is always a subject at Stryn and also today it switched between all seasons, so being good at window shopping and timing the drop in is a good thing!

After the jib sessions we joined the Gsport crew on a few runs on the backside of Stryn for some freeskiing in heavy and wet summer slush. Pretty funny to test out the new Oblivion park ski (center width 90mm) and that worked out perfect!

They continued building of the park so hopefully we could hit some machine made jumps tomorrow!

We got a few minutes of sun so it's all about shaping the jib and getting that tan!

Arrived and ready

It's this time of the year to head over to Stryn with Head and Gsport for their ski camp. 50 of the biggest sports shop in Norway coming up to test out some new equipment for the coming winter.

Cool to meet up with Kalle again who's joining me on the trip over her. They are still building up the park and hopefully that's opening tomorrow but before that we are heading out in the bc. The locals are saying that it's 1/3 of the snow this year compare to last year so it's a lot more stones to jib!

Arrived Stryn last night and had our first day at the mountain in typical stryn weather with heavy rain, fog, sun, wind and snow. Built 3 spots and hit 2 of them so that was a good start on the trip. Staying her for a few more days before heading over to Folgefonna to meet up with the Field crew for the last shot for the season.

Something new

Always cool doing something new and last week I got this call from Nina Djaerff about being in her art presentation about norwegian fairytales doing a retake on "Fanden & Futen".

I was a bit skeptical in the beginning but it ended up being funny experience. We did a retake on "Fanden & Futen" and actor Rune Temte was booked in as Fanden and I was Futen. Nina is a super professional photographer and knows how she want things done so it was mostly all about for me following the instructions, getting the freestyle pose and just take it from there!

The shots are going to be live at Villa Fridheim that is a famous museum placed at Krøderen, just 30min from Vikersund on your way up to Hemsedal and Norefjell.

Fueled up

With a pretty good afternoon yesterday we had to take out the mini mx's for a new adventure trip around Vikersund. Checking out every possible road and path and the way up and trying to put max pressure on the back wheel!

The world's biggest

When I'm back home and taking a some days of from skiing I have been trying to have 2 training session a day. One during the day with some leg tuning and one in the afternoon with the homeboys at gym 2000 to tune the bikini body 2013!

Had my first day training in the skiflyinghill her in Vikersund yesterday and walking the stairs from the bottom up with my dirtbike on the back was a new a good experience. To bring a bike up the stairs just makes the downhill part much more fun! The weather sucked and I looked like a piece of mud when I was done, but a quick trip to the car wash got both my bike and me cleaned up!

Tourist style

Got back from a weekend trip to Germany. Took the boat down south with Mari and her family and enjoyed some tourist style!
